Look After Your Eyes
Just a few tips to keep your eyes in peak condition:
- Visit an optometrist regularly - they can also spot eye problems and treat infections as well as prescribing spectacles and contact lenses
- Check your eyes and if you notice any changes, consult your optometrist
- Watch out for signs that there may be problems with your children’s eyes
- Never wear anyone else's contact lenses, wash them in tap water or sleep in them (unless your optometrist says you can)
- Buy good quality, dark sunglasses with 100% UV protection
- Eat a good balanced diet
- Wear protective glasses when doing DIY, gardening or sports
